- draw a number of cards based on your stats and such
- look at the highest card:
2-6: failure
7-10: undersuccess
face card: success
aces and jokers: oversuccess

the only reason I would do this is because I think cards are cooler than dice

instead of rolling a dice pool, you draw that many cards instead
